The Challenge

JT are a shower tray manufacturer in Leeds – there main target audience is the trade with plumbers, merchants and distributers always being the #1 target.

JT want to engage with more tradesman to get an understanding of the market.

Hatch came up with the campaign idea “UK Plumber of the Year” to help target and talk to more plumbers.

Our Solution

Hatch developed a brand plan for the competition including a logo, website and social channels.

Secured partners with Bristan, Plumb Centre, Helly Hanson, CAT, C.K Tools and Heating and Plumbing Monthly as a media competition partner.

Year one achieved over 100 applications to the competition, Year Two received over 250.

The plumbers embark on "Vote for Me" campaign to get the public on board - over 5500 votes have been registered.

Regional coverage all over the UK for the finalists - local BBC Radio even joined one of the Plumbers in their van on a morning commute!

PR value of over £160k for two years of activity.

Rapid social media growth with dedicated channels set up and ran.
