So, that’s pretty much it. Another year completed for Hatch. I always like to post a completely self-serving review of the past 12 months at this time of year, so I’m not going to break the habit now.

Hatch’s 11th year has been a banger, our biggest and most exciting yet, topped off with us moving into our amazing new office space in November.

The team have picked up a host of exciting new accounts and continued to work with some brilliant clients. There has been some pretty cool projects we’ve been fortunate to be involved in, including, EFL x Mind “Goals Worth Talking About”, RLWC2021’s Host Cities Announcement, Boost Drinks’ Red Berry, Summer On-Pack and We Love Local campaigns with a host of big names, World Class’ European Cocktail Festival, Hisense’s 50th Anniversary celebrations, Villa Maria’s Value of Conversation project, launching Roe & Co Whiskey in GB and Northern Monk’s Ben Nevis Project to name a few.

On the back of this we’ve picked up quite a few awards including Social Media Content Campaign of the Year at the UK Content Awards, named the PRCA’s Medium Sized Agency of the Year and picked up Prolific North’s Digital & Social Campaign of the Year.

Most importantly for me however, we’ve welcomed 12 new Hatchlings to the team, a team without who Hatch simply wouldn’t exist. The majority of the team we’re able to attend our annual away weekend. This year we headed to Bratislava, where somehow, we ended up in the VIP area of a nightclub being serenaded by the Slovak version of Pitbull. It was strange.

Personally, I set out to do quite a few things. Write a book, get better at Italian, run a full marathon. None of which I have achieved. I did have another child, so that’s my excuse for not achieving any of these things.

There we go, that’s it. I’m sure there is a load more self-congratulatory stuff I could have posted, but I’ve only got a few hours left in the office and I’ve still got to do all of my Christmas shopping.

Here’s to next year. Thanks to all our clients, suppliers, friends and family who’ve supported us throughout 2019. Roll on 9 days time when I start writing down stuff for next year’s post.
